A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Canadian Air Force brooch', Crowned 'Per Ardua ad Astra' enameled crest with eagle spread across the center, resting on a title scroll and applied to a well defined pair of arched feathered wings, the reverse impressed with the makers stamp. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with slight flaws. About 1 7/8” overall, Estate Sale Has been worn.
