This comprehensive kit includes a SafetyShield gas connector with bright, industry-recognized yellow powder coating, SmartSense EFV (Excess Flow Valve) and TS (Thermal Shutoff) adapters, thread sealant, and leak solution. This item comes in a bag.Designed and certified by CSA to ANSI Z21.24/CSA 6.10, ANSI Z21.75/CSA 6.27, and ANSI Z21.93/CSA 6.30 for indoor and outdoor use, the gas connector is commonly used for the installation of home appliances using natural gas or propane, such as gas dryers, tanked water heaters, fire pits, and fireplaces.Made from high quality 304 stainless steel, the included gas connector features a premium coating to inhibit growth of pathogens, improve corrosion and UV protection, and enhance flame and smoke resistance. Each 100% factory leak tested gas connector with adapters has a temperature rating of -40° F to (-40° C) to 150° F (65.5° C). It has an outer diameter of 1/2-inch, an inner diameter of 3/8-inch, and a length of 24 inches.This kit includes 1/2-inch MIP x 1/2-inch FIP x 1/2-inch MIP SmartSense EFV and TS adapters.
