Our Three Legacies: A Workbook was written to help people who may be having difficulty reading and understanding other Twelve Step literature. It has been written using simple language and avoiding the use of metaphors and euphemisms. The intent is not to replace any currently existing literature, but to help those who may be having trouble understanding the current literature.The Twelve Steps are written as simple, clear-cut directions. The Twelve Traditions are discussed as a practical set of tools for interacting with others. The Twelve Concepts for World Service are discussed from the perspective of how they apply at the group and district level. By discussing the Twelve Concepts for World Service in a more relatable way, they become easier to understand.Before anyone can pass our three legacies on to others, we must first understand all three legacies ourselves.
