[Vintage] 90s Royal Purveyor Household Knit

This is a high-neck knit from HARDY AMIES, a royal warrant brand from the early 1980s to 1990s, purchased at Achieve Store in Tokyo for approximately 25,000 yen.

According to the shop staff:
HARDY AMIES is a leading British brand with the concept of respect for the past and a vision for the future. It has a store on Savile Row, was awarded a Royal Warrant in 1955, and is known as a dressmaker to Queen Elizabeth. In 1968, the brand designed costumes for Stanley Kubrick's legendary film "2001: A Space Odyssey."

The elegant red body with a large check pattern gives a vintage feel. The buttons on the high neck are cap nut type, showing the brand's tradition and innovation, and the item reflects the designer's sense of style.

It seems to be an item sourced from Europe, and it has a unique 80s-90s atmosphere. The shop staff mentioned that it's a special item in terms of design and is not often seen.

It seems that Our Legacy and Comme des Garçons were inspired by this item. I compared both, and personally, I recommend this one♪
