Recently, relaxed silhouettes have been catching my eye, and within Levi's, models with a relaxed feel are gaining attention.
The leading example is the "550." The Levi's 550 debuted in 1985 and became particularly popular from the late 80s to the early 90s.
Its big appeal is the relaxed tapered silhouette, which gives a sense of both relaxation and a smart impression. The waist and thigh areas are roomy, but the exquisite tapered form, which narrows towards the hem, achieves two contrasting impressions.
This is the remade Levi's 550, which has been released with an elastic waistband and adjustable inseam length.
