Amazing decorative cast brass antique Victorian HORSE BRASS featuring the famous LINCOLN IMP , excellent antique condition as per photos.

Lincoln Imp, a grotesque figure from the folklore of Lincoln Cathedral, England, which has become a symbol of the city. According to a 14th-century legend, a mischievous imp was sent by Satan to do evil work on Earth. After causing mayhem in Northern England, the imp headed to Lincoln, where they smashed tables and chairs and tripped up the Bishop. He was banished there and his figure still remains stuck in the wall of Lincoln Cathedral today.
